Morello Beach Hotel

The hotel rooftop is lovely. The place itself is very nice, quiet, and friendly. And a pasticciotto for breakfast is the best 🥰

The Morello family made us feel welcome from the start. They were warm, genuinely friendly, personable, and consistently professional. They quickly shared suggestions for restaurants and things to see, and answered our questions about the region, shops, and even private beaches. The hotel is fairly new and very well maintained, about a five-minute walk from several beaches. There’s unpaved parking off site with room for any car or SUV. The rooms are spacious and modern, with USB outlets, a TV, touch switches, an illuminated mirror, and a motorized window screen to block sun and heat if you want. The hallway and shared dining area, where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served, have thoughtful touches like Mrs. Morello’s original paintings of the region. Outside, there are places to hang wet swimwear and two showers to rinse off sand. There was plenty more we didn’t use because we didn’t need it. Everyone seemed keen to make our stay comfortable and memorable, and staff were flexible and went out of their way to help. My daughter turned five while we were there. We’d ordered only a small cake and candles, but the staff also brought sandwiches, side dishes, and balloons, making her birthday away from home extra special. Thank you all! The only thing I’d mention is that I found a few glass shards in the driveway to the parking area. I know that can happen in a beach town, and it doesn’t take away from our experience. It’s definitely worth a visit, and let the staff make you a real Pugliese coffee! Ewa, Clarisa, Leonardo, et al, you are the best!

We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday spot. It’s easy to get to and well placed near one of Salento’s most beautiful beaches. The staff were so friendly, the local food was tasty, and the rooms were large and comfortable. They also rent bikes.

Lovely modern hotel, clean and beautifully located near the beach. The staff were very kind, and it’s good for kids too!
