Sambuca di Sicilia was much quieter than we expected, even though it was named Italy’s most beautiful town in 2016. It’s a lovely little Sicilian village and well worth a visit. Our stay was wonderful too: the owners were warm and friendly, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and there was plenty for breakfast. One of the nicest places I’ve stayed. Highly recommended!

Really nice rooms.

We couldn't find a single flaw in this property. The location is right in the center and convenient for everything, including parking. The historic building has recently been rebuilt to be earthquake-proof, and the renovation is beautifully done, with careful attention to every detail and high-quality furnishings, including some precious pieces. It was perfectly clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The spacious rooms and bathrooms have efficient, very quiet air conditioning. On the first floor, the reception areas are arranged so guests have privacy while still feeling part of the home. The owners, Giorgio and Mariolina Sacco, are a special couple, friendly but discreet and ready to help with anything. They made an exquisite breakfast, served outside in a beautiful courtyard on the mezzanine when the weather allowed. Giorgio also has a fully organic farm, where he makes an exceptional "Sirah" wine and "Nocellara del Belice" and "Biancolilla" olive oil. You have to try it!

The owners run this place with real care and attention, and treat guests kindly. It’s on the main street of a typical Sicilian town that’s recognized for its beauty.

The rooms are comfortable, tastefully furnished, and each has its own bathroom. The owners were kind, welcoming, and helpful. A great spot for a weekend in the Belice Valley, whether you want to explore nature, food and wine, or local history.
