The host was quick to respond and gave us helpful recommendations at the right time. We loved the beautiful restoration and the central location in Sambuca. We stayed three days and wished we'd booked longer.

Everywhere you looked in Sambuca, it was like looking at a work of art.

The host let us stay a few extra hours in the morning before checkout, which was very kind. For breakfast, there was food in the shared kitchen, and he also gave us vouchers for two nearby cafes. I tried the "Minni di Vergini" dessert at Bar Caruso and loved it. We chose this B&B as a base for the Calici di Stelle evening at Donnafugata and will be back next year to visit other wineries. The room was spacious, tastefully furnished, and had every comfort. The whole property was carefully maintained down to the smallest detail. Highly recommended.

The cleanliness and hygiene were at such a high level that this felt like a five-star B&B. The room was bright, spacious, welcoming, and comfortable, with a bathroom and shower just as good. It also had a television. Shared amenities included free Wi-Fi, a living room with comfortable sofas and a large-screen TV, plus a fully equipped eat-in kitchen with large and small appliances, including a coffee maker. The pantry was well stocked for breakfast and had basic essentials as well. I was surprised to find a place of this quality in a town in Agrigento's hinterland, even one that gets tourists. Calling it superior almost understates it compared with what's available nearby. We'd gladly repeat the experience. Kudos to the owners, this is how you support tourism.
