Hotel Andermax

The rooftop pool is heated, and the view from up there is stunning, so don’t skip it. The dinner was glorious, and service at dinner was top notch. Breakfast had a lot to choose from, but lacked the finesse and spirit of dinner. There was also a big selection of gins, and please don’t miss the bar cookies, they were the best I’ve had in my life ;) The rooms are very small and hard to get around in, and the hotel itself feels compact. The village is small and full of hotels, which can feel a bit claustrophobic. Around the ski lift there are lots of trekking routes and via ferrata. The staff felt a bit cold, like in ch or at, but the food makes up for a lot. I’d totally visit again, especially in summer, when you can eat on the terrace next to the cows. Top!

We had a great view from this hotel. The staff were friendly, supportive, and very helpful, especially the Albanian man, I think his name is Refal, and Eman, the Moroccan girl.

We came to Andermax for our honeymoon, and it was a dream. It’s a little out of the way, but still well connected to Südtirol by trains and major roads. The food was Michelin quality, and our room was comfortable with unbelievable views. Service was friendly and attentive to what we needed. The bartender was an extremely talented mixologist, and the bar service was friendly too. This was one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. We absolutely want to come back. We don’t want to leave!

Opened in December 2021, this is a modern Alpine-style hotel that welcomes people and pets. The rooftop pool and relaxation area are phenomenal, and the rooms and restaurant are beautifully decorated. We found the beds and pillows comfortable, and the hotel was very quiet at night. Half board included an absolutely superb breakfast and a delicious four-course dinner with lots of variety. The location is convenient for exploring Innichen and Naturpark Drei Zinnen, and Cortina D’Ampezzo is a 45-minute drive away. Parking can be a challenge when the hotel is full. Congratulations to the chef, who unfortunately isn’t named on the hotel website. We’d like to return.
