Il Prugnolo

Sonia made our arrival with a baby so easy. She had a crib in excellent condition with sheets, toys to keep him busy, and even pasta and sauce, water, fruit juice and delicious homemade olive oil waiting for us. She’s incredibly kind and helpful. The apartment was spotless, and we had a wonderful holiday in the Tuscan countryside about 20 minutes from Florence. Highly recommend it for the location and hospitality!

We came back to Il Prugnolo for a second holiday, this time with six adults and no children, and enjoyed it just as much. It’s a great base for exploring Tuscany, though we drove several hundred kilometers during our two weeks to see as much as possible. The apartments are roomy and well equipped, with space for eight adults. Outside, there’s a large lawn, sturdy loungers, a barbecue by the seating area, and another spot with at least six seats below the spacious pool. There’s room for badminton, plus play equipment for children. The countryside views are magnificent. Parking is about 30 meters from the house. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

I stopped by to look at a motorcycle for sale and was struck by how beautiful the place is. The Florentine Chianti view is picture-perfect, and the rental apartments look lovely. There’s a pool and a children’s playground in the garden. If I wanted a relaxing holiday, I’d definitely consider staying here. Recommended!

I’d love to organize my daughter’s wedding here someday. The staff were very kind, and the place has a restaurant and apartments for hosting. I’m not sure whether they offer catering for lunch or dinner. It also seems like a lovely spot to relax completely, do yoga in the countryside and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
