The location and service were excellent, and I got a good price through Booking.com. Still, the hygiene needed work, and the mattress wasn't very good. In the shower I found a bar of soap that wasn't mine, with hairs stuck to it. The stovetop also needed a proper clean, with crumbs all over it, especially given the €40 "sanitization" fee for using the kitchen. I didn't spend much, luckily, but in high season those oversights would definitely have bothered me.

A great location couldn't make up for the state of this apartment. It needs serious renovation, with dirt all around and damaged furniture. Several kitchen utensils were broken, the glasses didn't match, and the little rotten couch had been set up for one person. Trying to reach the landlord was useless. I sent at least four emails and a letter and got no reply. Terrible service. Never again.
10/10
The online check-in was really convenient, and when we arrived we had all the details we needed, including a city map showing the apartment, parking, and supermarkets. The apartment itself is very spacious and right in the center of San Casciano. Every appliance worked perfectly, and the kitchen had all the utensils we needed.
8/10
The building is quite noisy, and the beds weren't great. The apartment, which belongs to Hotel Baroncci, is nicely furnished and sits in the heart of San Casciano's old town, 2 km away.

We booked through Booking.com and could check in online. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. It's right in the center of San Casciano, an excellent location. Highly recommended!
