Dinner was delicious, and the gorgeous surroundings made it feel like such a lovely place to pause before our wedding. We stayed for one night at the end of May last year, between two locations, and were glad we chose it. The views all around are stunning and the atmosphere is calm. Our room had rustic charm with modern comforts, and it was spotless and well kept. The staff were the real highlight, friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Everyone made us feel looked after. I’d recommend it for a peaceful getaway with lovely scenery, good food, and thoughtful service.

The restaurant menu notes that some dishes marked with an asterisk come frozen. Given where we were, that really put me off. The property itself is stunning, and breakfast is included, which was a nice bonus. The coffee comes from a machine that you use yourself, and it wasn’t very good. We also had trouble with the AC in our room, but the staff sorted it out quickly.

Dinner and breakfast were both excellent, and the place was good value overall. We were looking for a winery near Greve between visits to Siena and Florence, and this worked out well. It’s in a quiet spot, and the room was very nice, though getting into the shower meant climbing five steps. We enjoyed the wine tasting. It isn’t a dedicated winery, though, as the main focus is accommodation, with wine as another focus.

The staff are so lovely, and both the food and accommodations were perfect. Salvadonica feels peaceful and special, with breathtaking views. Their breakfast buffet is the best I’ve had in Italy!

The bedrooms are simple but cute, and the location is really convenient with incredible views. To me, the restaurant felt like it was trying to cater to American guests, and I wouldn’t choose to eat there while visiting Tuscany. I’d come back, but maybe just for a day while passing through.
