The pool was a real treat, staying cool even when it was very hot outside. We came here to recharge, and the peaceful setting was just right. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was great, and there’s a grocery store and a few local places to eat nearby.

The grounds are lovely, and the pool is great. We had a room that worked for four people, and the location was ideal. Staff were especially helpful and professional. Breakfast was excellent too. Highly recommended.

The apartment has amazing views, and the pool must be a big plus in summer. It was equipped for what we needed, even letting us host dinner for eight. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the main hotel, with a short stretch along a dirt road. Housekeeping took a while to respond, toiletries were limited and weren’t topped up daily, and some corners with spider webs needed a better clean. The showers also felt dated and needed maintenance.

Breakfast was brilliant, and the restaurant attached to the property was very good. We also appreciated the ample parking and access to two pools, which are separate from the main B&B but great. The room was amazing, and we got a warm welcome with lots of helpful tips about the area. We’d give it 10 stars if we could.

We had a wonderfully relaxed stay in the heart of Chianti country. Villa S. Andrea sits beautifully atop an ancient hill. The food, wine, rooms, staff, and excellent service are all part of what makes this place special.
