B&B Mare e Monti

I wasn’t staying at the B&B, so I wasn’t sure I could come just for dinner, but I could. Silvio replied quickly on Whatsapp and fit me in for a fresh farm dinner, which was absolutely worth it. The house wine was exquisite, and I’ll be thinking about those cheeses for a while. His wife made fabulous ravioli with lemon mint pesto. My photo doesn’t do it justice, it was so good. And the TOMATOES were out of this world. I’d never liked tomatoes before, but you could really taste the difference. Silvio’s niece looked after me that night and was fantastic. I also needed to get some work done, and Silvio thoughtfully helped me find a spot with strong WiFi. There are cows and chickens on the property, along with a beautiful viewpoint overlooking a castle. I’d highly recommend stopping by while you’re in the area. The homemade Italian food was fresh, high quality, and a great price. I’m planning to bring my fiancé when he gets to Italy. What more could you want? 😍
