The location is excellent for San Daniele and has panoramic views over the area. The restaurant downstairs is consistently good quality. We’ve stayed here on and off for eight years, and it’s starting to feel dated. Some renovations are needed. Not every room has a mini fridge, and the coffee machine always seems to be out of order. Until they do a serious room overhaul, I don’t think it should really be a Relais. It feels more like a two-star hotel. It’s a shame, because the location is so good.

There’s lots of greenery and nice views, and the location is great. Breakfast was okay, served semi-self-service, with cheese and ham already laid out on the tables. I missed having vegetables. Our room was a bit odd, and the bathroom was really uncomfortable because of the shower curtain.

I slept better here than anywhere else I can remember. The bed felt like clouds, and the room was nice. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and there’s a large free parking area. A steakhouse is attached to or right next to the hotel. There’s also a tennis court nearby, though I don’t know how much it costs.

I stopped for a drink on the restaurant terrace, which looks toward the hill of San Daniele. The main church is about a 15-minute walk away. The hotel itself was good, with clean rooms and very friendly service. The restaurant serves American-style food, like burgers, steak, and ribs.

We went with our five-month-old pug, and both the dog and we loved the place. It’s an especially nice spot to stay with a dog. Breakfast was really tasty, the view was nice, and the staff were friendly. You can walk to the city centre.
