BB Red Fenice

I've stayed here many times, and it remains my first choice. The rooms are small and fairly simple, but very clean. I love the rustic charm of the breakfast room, and the owner is easygoing and accommodating. Best B&B around.

The quiet around B&B Red Fenice Venezia made us think the garden and veranda must be wonderful once they’re in bloom. We were there in the Noventa di Piave area to see relatives, and the hostess was very kind when we got in touch and found they had a room available. We arrived on March 20th for one night. It wasn’t warm, but the room was lovely that evening, tidy, and had really comfortable beds. We’d definitely come back next time we’re nearby, maybe in May or June.

A fair price for a quick stop, with parking right there. The rooms are small, but very well cared for, and the atmosphere is comfortable and pleasant. Management is friendly, attentive, and easygoing.

You’re close to plenty of places to eat, and I’d suggest Pepe Rosa for dinner, about five minutes from the B&B. Da Marino is next door, though I didn’t try it. Venice is also about 40 minutes away, while Eraclea Mare takes 10 minutes by car and Jesolo around 15-20. In summer there are nearby restaurants with fresh seafood. I stayed for five days in the second week of August. I’m not far from home, but wanted somewhere with everything handy, especially a shower. The owner and her husband run a lovely, carefully kept B&B, and you feel at home as soon as you walk in. The rooms are clean and have private bathrooms. Breakfast downstairs included jam-filled croissants, Nutella, bread and butter, and tarts that seemed to be homemade. There was fresh fruit like watermelon and melon, juices, and a machine for coffee and cappuccino. If you’re looking for a family welcome rather than hotel-level expectations, I recommend it. Recommended!
