Hotel Capo Circeo

We got here today. The hotel is cute, though the rooms are small, and the beach is very close. But the hotel restaurant food is awful and expensive. The worst part was the customer service. After a terrible fried calamari and a 2 millimeter thick chicken breast with fries for 15 euros, we waited 30 minutes for our main course. We said we didn’t want the rest of the food we’d ordered. Instead of asking what was wrong or trying to help, the owners got hostile. At the end, they even told us not to eat at their restaurant again. They didn’t need to say that, we’re not masochists. They claimed nobody had complained about the food, but the couple beside us spent 15 minutes staring in disbelief at their risotto after trying it, then sent it back. The waiter kept walking past without asking if anything was wrong. My family and I travel all over the world, and this is some of the worst customer service we’ve experienced. As I write this, my husband is walking around San Felice Circeo looking for something to eat. SHAME ON YOU HOTEL CAPO CIRCEO!!!! Bad, overpriced food and rude owners. You can tell what a restaurant owner is like when a problem comes up. The people running this hotel should choose a different business. They have no class and don’t know how to treat customers properly at all. An experience to forget. SHAME!!! Thanks for your response. You’ve confirmed what we’d already realized from the first day here. They say you never stop learning. Maybe there’s still hope for you too.

Great location, a lovely private beach, and a big, clean pool. The room was clean, though the shower was small. Breakfast felt more like what you’d get at a two-star hotel. Thanks.

We had such a good holiday that we came back after staying here last year, in September 2024. Our room, 206, was very clean, with a spacious terrace and a view of both the pool and the sea. The bathroom was modern and had a comfortable shower. Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and attentive to requests. The one letdown was the old television, which wasn’t smart, so some channels weren’t available. The beach area had a bar, restaurant, and other facilities, and the umbrellas and loungers were comfortable. We’ll most likely return next year.

The seaside restaurant is a lovely place to relax, quiet, clean, and pleasant. The seafood was excellent and high quality, and chef Simone and his cook paid attention to whether we were happy, with a simple, friendly approach. I stayed at the hotel for four days and felt right at home. It’s an excellent family-run four-star place. The owner, Agostino, is down-to-earth and very helpful to the staff. I highly recommend it.
