Villa Luisa Resort & Luxury Apartments

We spent a week here and found the accommodation nice and the service very pleasant. I was especially pleased that dogs are allowed. The only downside for a stay with a dog is the lack of greenery, though that isn’t the hotel’s fault.

The spa was a calm, cozy place to unwind, and our clean, nice room was consistently well looked after by the cleaning team. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were attentive and very friendly throughout our week at Hotel Villa Louisa Resort and Spa. The pool started off cold, but warmed up as the temperature rose. We also appreciated the three free EV parking spots in the garage. The bar was brilliant, especially the talented team who love making rum drinks. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend it.

I never stayed at this hotel, and it may be great. But there are at least two Hotel Villa Luisa properties in Italy, and I mistakenly booked this one instead of the other. The booking system required full payment upfront, which I paid. As soon as I noticed the mistake, I contacted both the hotel and the booking platform. Neither would refund me or help, despite my trying several times over three days. Based on how they handled this and treated me, I have no choice but to warn people. I’ll never stay there or recommend them. I’d advise staying away and considering the many other good hotels in the area.

The hotel’s calm location, friendly professional service, and lovely outdoor pool and bar made for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was abundant and tasty, the rooms were comfortable and well equipped apart from the couch, which could be better, and the value for money was satisfactory. Parking was less pleasant: the outdoor option was awkward in the rain, while the hotel’s underground garage cost too much, so guests were pushed toward the less convenient outdoor spaces. The spa was small and didn’t feel worth the €20 charge for three hours, especially compared with larger thermal baths in Garda that offer more for a similar price. Its pool was cold and unimpressive, and the waterfall noise made the area unpleasant. The sauna door wouldn’t close properly, which isn’t acceptable, and there were no signs for infusions. I think these facilities would make more sense included in the stay, as they are at many other hotels. Fixing those issues would improve the guest experience.
