We paid 60 EUR in September for a camper car and two people, which felt a little pricey. The campsite is a nice place to relax, with views of Lake Garda and a small stone beach for sunbathing or getting into the water for a swim. The pizzeria next door was great. It’s handy for arriving early and spending the day by the lake before checking out at 10pm. The toilets were okay.

We were charged 70€ to rent two standup paddles for three hours, even though nobody showed us a price or said they weren’t free. There was a sign on the paddles saying “For guests of the Ideal Molino camping.” Charging 15€/hour without telling guests first feels awful, especially when a basic pitch already costs so much. I’m not sure it’s even legal. The camping is very expensive overall, but offers only the bare minimum. It was dirty, there’s no pool, extras cost more, and the staff weren’t nice. It doesn’t deserve a 4-star rating.

We spent seven days in one of the chalets in September, when it was quieter than high season, and had a really peaceful, relaxing holiday. This may be the best holiday I’ve ever had. Everyone on staff was so friendly, and our stay couldn’t have been better. A family member who stayed here years ago told us about the place. I’m not sure we’d have found it otherwise, and we’re so glad they recommended it. We fully intend to come back soon ❤️

We paid 70€ for two paddle boards for three hours, but weren’t given any prices for the campsite equipment beforehand. With a basic tent pitch already costing 86€/night, all those extra charges feel dishonest, especially when there’s a sign at the entrance saying the equipment is “specially reserved for customers.” The staff and service left us very disappointed. Our pitch was surrounded by noisy campers, with dirty toilets, little consideration for others, and partying until 5am. We also felt the staff didn’t welcome you if you weren’t Dutch or German. We hope the campsite takes this feedback into account. With a location like this, the Moulin could be really ideal.
