I still think fondly of Mr. Dario, who managed this place with such warmth and dedication to guests. I spent two nights here a few years ago and came back to find the hotel closed. What a shame.

Mr. Dario was welcoming and very professional, and the owners deserve credit too. When I stayed at this historic residence in December 2014, everything felt just right, from the rooms to breakfast.

Such a shame this place has closed. It had an elegant, classy feel and so much history in its walls.

It's up for sale now, since it's no longer a hotel.
