Bruno, the caretaker, was quick to help whenever we asked and always polite. We had a clean two-bedroom apartment with most of what we needed. It made a great base for seeing Tuscany, and the patio looks out over San Gimignano and the valley around it.

The view from our spotless room was hard to describe, and this ended up being the highlight of my trip. We came for 3 nights after initially booking 2, then asked as soon as we arrived if we could add another. The caretaker on site was so kind and accommodating, always going out of his way. We hope things go well for him. The pool was clean and refreshing, the grounds were looked after, and the facilities were comfortable. We really loved our time here and hope we get back one day. We didn't have a car, though having one would definitely be easier. Bring food, and book meals ahead at the two nearby Villas within walking distance. For San G, the local bus works if you check the timetable on Google maps, but keep in mind the last one is around 5pm. You can walk there too, mostly uphill; the return trip is mostly downhill and lovely. Taxis aren't reliable at all. WiFi was very spotty because of the provider, so I wouldn't rely on it for video calls. Still, who cares when you're living your best Tuscan life? If you can, stay an extra day or 3.

Bruno was always on hand with advice and help with logistics, and we had a really pleasant stay in Montegonfoli. The countryside setting was wonderful. We enjoyed the pool, the sunset views, and seeing San Gimignano at night.

Bruno was such a friendly, patient host while we tried out our Italian. We loved walking to San Gimignano across the hills, driving through amazing medieval towns, and meeting such welcoming people. Agriturismo Montegonfoli is in a stunning part of Tuscany and is a beautiful agriturismo. We'd highly recommend it.

We wished we had more time here. The rooms and property are wonderful, and there are plenty of restaurants and things to do within a 20 minute drive.
