The scenery is amazing, and the pool looks out over a valley in the heart of wine country. The hotel is absolutely stunning, and it really doesn’t get much better than that. There are only a small number of rooms, and ours was clean with a comfortable bed. The air conditioner in our room wasn’t working during our one-night stay, and neither was the one in our friends’ room, which made for a hot, uncomfortable night. Apart from that, it was a great experience.

From the rooms, the vineyards make a stunning view, and the pool looks toward San Gimignano at sunset. The B&B sits in a beautiful, quiet rural area outside town, just a short drive away. The people running it were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a great tip on which city to visit on the way to Siena. After a hot day exploring, the garden pool was just what we needed. Breakfast was simple but fine, and the coffee was great. If you arrange it ahead, you can also have dinner at the B&B, and the food is very good.

It was so peaceful and beautiful that we stayed an extra night. John was a very kind and helpful host. I highly recommend this B&B.

The place was very unhygienic, and the staff were unfriendly. I even think the bedsheets hadn’t been changed. It’s also hard to reach by car unless you have an SUV.

The view of San Gimignano was magical, and the pool was wonderful!
