The place has beautiful views, and the rooms were very clean. We enjoyed the pools and walking paths, and the food was great for the bargain price: a four-course meal for 25 € with water and wine included. The restaurant staff seemed undertrained, though. They wouldn't bring olive oil to the table, so we had to get it ourselves, and we heard several other people complain too. Even so, it was a great experience overall.

The rooms were clean and nicely finished, and the property itself is gorgeous. We especially enjoyed the included breakfast, with loads of choices and enough for everyone. Dinner at the restaurant is a must at least once, the food quality is a real bargain. The front desk staff were welcoming, helpful, kind, and a lot of fun, with good tips about the area. We hope we can come back.

It’s peaceful here, and the staff are nice. The rooms are basic but clean. There are two pools, though both felt a little cold. Getting there means driving 2 km off the main road along a very rough side road. Breakfast could use improvement, perhaps with more organic or homemade items. We tried lunch and dinner too; they were okay, but San Gimignano has better restaurants.

The setting is lovely, with beautiful scenery, and most of the staff were friendly. The rooms were cold and draughty, with very poor sound insulation and a tiny bathroom radiator. Dogs are welcome, though there were too many large ones in the restaurant for us. The restaurant was mediocre at best, and the menu didn’t feel worth the price.

Dinner on the patio was a highlight, with breathtaking views of the farms around us. We were here for our honeymoon and had a lovely stay. The drive along the country roads takes a bit of getting used to, but it’s worth it. We even passed a goat and a donkey.
