I’m adding three photos, and there’s not much more I can say beyond what others have already written. Luca, his wife, and their exceptional staff made us feel like friends coming home for a visit. The hospitality, food, drinks, service, and facilities were all exceptional, especially for the price. We spent five nights here at the end of our 19 day Italy trip, and it was a wonderful way to finish. Hotel Villa Molino di Foci was our Tuscany base for those five nights. It’s a simple, not-too-large place with wonderful owners we talked with every day. They get a lot of guests from Germany. The original buildings date from the early 1500s, when the site was a grain mill, and it sits along a gravel road first established by the Romans before the birth of Christ. About a mile down that road is a rough archaeological site of a large Roman Villa. The old road is also part of a pilgrimage route from Canterbury England to Rome, first walked in the 900's, later becoming more of a "popular" pilgrimage in the 1500's. People still bike and trek the route today. That history is crazy amazing. I took a morning walk there and kept thinking that Romans had walked it 2000 years ago, pilgrims came hundreds of years later, and now I was there too. Holy buckets. Priceless.

The gardens and pool area were the highlights, beautifully set beside the breakfast and dining area. We enjoyed a great breakfast, excellent itineraries to fill the days, and wonderful Tuscan dinner evenings when we got back. The whole team took such good care of us, and their attention made our holiday stay memorable. Just a magical place to stay.

The staff made us feel comfortable throughout our stay, and the breakfast was exceptional. They asked what coffee we wanted before we’d even looked at the breakfast options. Since we had an early departure, they sent us off with a breakfast basket the night before. The pool area was lovely and the food very good. Molina di Foci was exceptional, and staying there was the highlight of our lovely time in Tuscany. After days out touring wineries, Tuscan towns, and doing different activities, we looked forward to getting back. We’ll definitely return.

We had an amazing stay at Molino di Foci and hope to come back. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The gardens and pool are beautiful and well kept, and our room had a stylish design. One of the trip’s highlights was the hotel host’s 3-course Tuscan dinner. The food was delicious, served outdoors with a magical scenic backdrop. It’s a great base in the Tuscan countryside, close to local vineyards and plenty of traditional Tuscan towns to explore.

The pool and sweeping views made it easy to unwind, and the restored property has real charm. Molini di Foci sits among cypress trees and rolling Tuscan hills, with a peaceful, romantic feel. Breakfast was fresh, and the staff were so welcoming, always ready with a smile and useful local suggestions. I’d happily come back.
