I really liked the breakfast. The croissants and pastries were lovely, and the smoked salmon and Philadelphia pots were a fun surprise for a buffet. I didn't try the hot dishes, but all the continental options were good. The bar was less consistent: one cocktail arrived in 15 minutes and was lovely, while another took half an hour and had all the wrong ingredients. The red pool umbrellas were so chic, and our balcony or terrace had a gorgeous view. The room was pretty small, so dealing with our luggage for two nights was a bit awkward, even though the outdoor area was massive. Storage and space are limited, so for a longer stay we'd have brought things in from the car more carefully. Parking needs to be booked in advance. Luckily, a space was available for both days we needed it. At 15 euros a day, I thought it was fair for the convenience of bringing luggage straight in and out, though personally I wouldn't want to pay more. We arrived about 11 AM, went out for a few hours, and came back around 1 PM, but the room still wasn't ready. We waited until nearly 3 PM to check in. I understand check-in starts at 3, but since we were the only ones waiting, it would've been a nice touch if they could've prioritized our room. We were exhausted after a three-day wedding. I'd recommend this as a relaxed base for exploring San Gimignano, and booking a room with a balcony should get you some stunning views.

I had a fantastic four days here. The buffet breakfast was delicious, as were the dinner options on the menu. The room was comfortable and came with a huge balcony. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even giving me an adapter when mine didn't work.

The town is really nice and only a quick seven-minute walk away. The hotel's location was outstanding, and breakfast was fantastic. They upgraded our room when they had one available, which was a really nice bonus.

The breakfast was brilliant, and the swimming pool had a good view. Service was mixed, with some friendly staff and some who weren't. The room was terrible: noisy, tiny, and outdated. Showering in what felt like a closet 🤣. It badly needs an upgrade.

The location, terrace, bar staff, and pool area are wonderful, which makes this a shame. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly, with hairs left by previous guests, and the room looked shabby and run-down compared with the online photos. There were loose sockets and damaged walls. We were put in a gloomy hallway beside the kitchen and bar, where it was noisy and unwelcoming. Parking was chaotic and our car got blocked in. One receptionist was unfriendly and unhelpful, though another was friendly. It didn't feel like we were being treated as guests, more like an afterthought. Not what I expected from a room costing over €220 a night.
