The bus stop right outside made day trips to volterra and siena really easy for us. We had a wonderful stay at hotel San Michele, and the rooms were great, cleaned every day, with a lovely clean pool overlooking the countryside. Paola and Roberta were friendly, professional, and always ready to help or give information. They even took the trouble to arrange beautiful flowers for my girlfriend's birthday on my behalf. Everything was top notch, and I can't fault the place. We'd return 100%.

We had a smaller room, but it was clean and comfortable. The property has private parking and is within walking distance of San Gimignano. Breakfast was nice, and the ladies working there were very nice too. I'd highly recommend it, especially if you're driving through Italy.

We loved the views and spent our days relaxing by the pool. In the evening, it's about a 20 minute walk into town for dinner, or you can catch the bus across the street. The staff were kind and helpful, and our three nights went by too fast. The clean rooms had AC, and breakfast was lovely. We had everything we needed and would happily stay again. I wish we'd used it as a base for more of our Tuscany trip. Highly recommend!

We were so pleased with our night at Hotel St Michelle last month. The pool was stunning, and the room and bath were spotless. But breakfast was the real surprise: fresh coffee and tea with a pitcher of steaming milk, so many pastries, eggs, and plenty of meats. There was far too much for me to sample everything, and more than I can describe here. It was a five-star stay for us!

The room was a great size, with a lovely view and access to the pool, though we didn't use it. Conveniently, it's a 10min drive from San Gimignano. The breakfast is plentiful, with lots of choices, and I'd highly recommend it.
