Residence Cà Mazzini

I stayed one night on May 14, 2024. There’s internal parking and a spacious living room, but I can’t recommend this residence because of the way the booking was handled and the condition of the apartment. I’d booked a particular apartment and called ahead to make sure I’d get it. Instead, I was given a different one. They said the residence was full, though it looked visibly empty. During the phone discussion, he cut me off with, “either this or a refund.” The kitchen was a makeshift electric stove because, he said, gas wasn’t allowed for safety reasons. WiFi was poor, there were no curtains even in the bedroom facing the street, the cookware was worn out, and the TV was very small.

The house was clean and well looked after, in a quiet spot. I rented the apartment for one night and had everything I needed. It’s a very nice building, and the owners were friendly. The garage was a real shame. It’s too small for anything but a small car, and even then it’s impossible to get out. Still, the stay was more than positive, and I’d recommend it for a short visit.

Antonella, who manages the residence, is wonderful. The rooms are modern, clean, and spacious, and the price is competitive. Mantua is only a five-minute drive away, with the shopping center and cinema just a minute from the residence. I highly recommend it, including for a longer stay.

Easy to reach Mantua from this spacious, modern residence, and it’s affordable too. The floors looked as if they hadn’t been vacuumed for a while, and the blanket barely covered the middle of the bed even though it was tucked in neatly. Still, it was a pleasant stay.
