Just above central Scario, Verdeblu House Country Hotel feels like a quiet green retreat. The rooms are roomy and consistently clean, and the welcome is wonderful. Mrs. Ornella and her sister-in-law are always warm and kind. A full score!

The food at Verdeblu Country Hotel was a real treat, made with local, authentic ingredients and a clear love for traditional cooking. The property itself is enchanting, with spacious, practical rooms, and the whole place feels like a peaceful, beautiful escape. From the start, Ornella welcomed us so warmly and paid attention to every detail to make sure our stay went well. Her care for the hotel and its guests showed in all the little things. It's surrounded by nature, with lovely views, and the area's main attractions are easy to reach. The owner is really kind, and breakfast has an excellent buffet. I loved this hotel and can't wait to come back. Highly recommended.

The grounds are lovely and quiet, with fruit trees, chickens in a pen, a little greenhouse, and a stream. From the terrace there's a stunning sea view, and the shared space is full of books. Everything indoors was very clean. Since there were three of us, we got a huge room with two double beds in separate areas and a fantastic, comfortable bathroom. Breakfast service was very good, with homemade cakes, croissants, fresh fruit juice, coffee, and other drinks. The downsides were that there were no drinks in the room's mini-bar, and it was hard to find water. The sink water is drinkable, but I would have appreciated a mini-bar service at a place like this. Breakfast was all sweet, with no savory options.
