Villa Dello Spino B&B

A peaceful spot with a nice pool. The breakfast at the café was great, and the hospitality was really good.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The summer pool was lovely too. It’s worth finding their number and calling directly, as you may get a discount.

The attic on the second floor is spectacular, and there are rooms upstairs along with practical meeting and performance spaces on the ground floor, including lounges with audiovisual equipment. The renovation of the old farmhouse was both well done and functional, and the whole property is kept in excellent condition. It has a welcoming, familiar feel that makes it easy to settle in. The family running it, Massimiliano, Roberto, Simona, make you feel at home right away, and their cooking is excellent. The lasagna was delicious, and the local wines were remarkable too. We visited on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Really, there’s very little more you could ask for. Absolutely recommended! 😍🤗

The room stayed cool even on very hot days, thanks to its thick walls, high ceilings, and windows on two sides. We had a mini fridge and air conditioning, though we never used the AC. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and all have been renovated and look beautiful. Some have private bathrooms, while others share bathrooms. We stayed here while my daughter competed in the National Figure Skating Championships. The competition went well, but the real win was finding this spectacular B&B. It’s a renovated 19th-century farmhouse with a long, tree-lined driveway and a huge 60,000-square-meter park, including a pond for no-kill fishing, a small forest, and an orchard. The lovely pool is behind the building, so it feels private and relaxing. The owners live on the property and are welcoming, helpful, kind, and love animals. Each room is named for one of their cherished pets. There aren’t many rooms, and breakfast is available either from a basket for you to prepare in your room or through their special deal at Bar Luciana, about a kilometer away, where we had a great time. My family and I found it hard to leave, but it’ll be easier to come back. Thanks, Massimo, for being so available. Best wishes to your whole family.
