The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom, with a decent-sized bed and a good mattress. There was also a mini-fridge in the closet, which was handy. The property had gated parking, a plus, though its remote location may be awkward without a car. I’d never stayed in a B&B before, so my comparison is hotels and motels. The renovated house has high ceilings and an authentic feel, but there isn’t much insulation between floors. We could hear everything from the couple and child staying above us, and they were quite noisy. The person I reached by phone was friendly, but I didn’t like arriving without an owner or receptionist there to greet me. There was no one at reception, and no bell or other way to announce our arrival. I eventually went to the main gate and rang there, then someone helped me in English and explained how to get in with the key from a locker. Having to retrieve a key and find the room and facilities by ourselves felt more like cheaper accommodation. For this price, I expected more personal service. All in all, the stay was enjoyable, though a bit expensive.

We loved staying here. It’s a lovely spot for anyone who wants the quiet of a rural cottage but still plans to visit busy Pisa. The room was very clean, breakfast was really, really tasty, and the staff were super friendly. Thanks for such a warm welcome!

A converted farmhouse turned into a quirky, quaint house, with thoughtful finishing touches. The host was great, and we enjoyed the location, pool, and surrounding area. It works well as a base for exploring if you have a car. Pisa is a bit far otherwise, though that shouldn’t matter much if you’re only here for a couple of days. We loved this B&B.

There are only five rooms, and our room was big and tidy. The service was excellent, and breakfast is a great idea: you place your order and they bring fresh dishes to your table in the garden. Fantastic place outside the city, highly recommended.
