Giovanni and Chiara, thank you! Their family home feels made for hosting, even for guests like us traveling with a small child. The care shows in all the little touches, from the thoughtfully chosen furnishings to the breakfast Giovanni prepares himself, always happy to meet our requests. He’s also the person to ask about getting around, places to see, and restaurants for local food. Basisa B&B sits in nature in the Bologna hills, with a warm, homey feeling and so much kindness. It’s a peaceful spot close to the city.

Chiara and Giovanni made us feel at home with their easy, welcoming manner, and we’d gladly come back. The property is comfortable and set in the lovely Bologna hills, surrounded by nature just beyond the city. A good choice for families with children.

The owners were warm and kind, and the peaceful, green setting made this a lovely intimate place. I highly recommend it.

I spent two nights here and found it a great place to rest both body and mind. The welcome was warm, the hospitality excellent, and the place was very clean. Breakfast was excellent too.

Clean, but a bit pricey for what the place is.
