The place was nice, the breakfast was good, and everyone was very friendly. The bathroom floors were heated, which was nice. The mattress was quite firm and could be replaced. We had to haul our luggage up four flights of stairs because there’s no elevator. It’s family-owned.

The owners and staff were extremely kind, attentive, and always available. We stayed two nights in early January with half board in a quadruple room. The hotel felt warm and welcoming, surrounded by nature and only a few minutes from the village. The local food was very good and plentiful, and breakfast was excellent. On Sundays, the restaurant opens to the public for lunch, with a dance party featuring traditional local music and dancing. It’s about 17 km from Merano and close to Giovo Pass. We went there to visit the beautiful markets in Vipiteno and Lake Braies. I highly recommend it, and I bet it’s beautiful in summer too.

We stayed overnight as a hiking group, and in the morning the boss personally drove us to the next trailhead. Thanks again for that! The whole team, including the boss, was friendly and accommodating, and the food was phenomenal.

My partner and I stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. The rooms were beautiful, with lots of wood and a lovely atmosphere. The only downside was that there’s no bidet. Dinner was exquisite, and so was breakfast. Best regards, Mr. Pickler!
