Villa Rosetta

The pool was great, and you should visit Cividale city and the cascate Kot. If you book all 3 rooms, you get the whole facility. It’s a great B&B, though it could be a bit cleaner.

For €94 a night, we got no breakfast, even though the place is called bad & breakfast. I stayed two nights in a king room, but only the price was king. The pool itself is nice, but full of bugs. The air conditioning is like a penguin bought on Temu, embarrassingly loud, doesn’t cool the room, and makes the TV hard to hear. There are no curtains on the bathroom window, so the neighbors can watch you in the shower, and they don’t clean between days. There’s a fridge in the common area, but it’s turned off. There is a coffee machine with pods, but no water, so either use the mayor’s water or remember to bring your own, since you’re out in the countryside. The hot tub is closed too, even in early July. The TV is small, the shower is average but has a great showerhead, and there’s a desk for those of us who have to work on a laptop in the evening, but no power outlet nearby. This was the worst stay I’ve had in years, and I sleep away from home about 250 days a year. Mea culpa, I booked it, but NEVER AGAIN Villa Rosetta.

The room was clean and nice, but I left the day after arriving, even though I’d paid for two nights. There’s no air conditioning, just a loud, tractor-like penguin that doesn’t cool you down, so I got no rest. The free WiFi was basically unusable. There’s a kitchen, but no breakfast, only a coffee machine with a few low-quality pods. In the morning there aren’t any pods, so you have to get up early, drive two or three kilometers, and buy a cup of coffee. The pool was full of bugs, and the owner was rude. He even lets you go out in your underwear. Absolutely not recommended.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and parking was available. We spent one night here on our way from Slovenia. The room was very nice and clean, with a new bathroom. The pool was clean and set in a well-maintained garden, and breakfast was plentiful and good.
