Le Terrazze del Geco Bungalow A (SLR300)

Vittorio and his wife were incredibly kind. We spent a wonderful week enjoying the sea view, and the little chalets were clean and well equipped. We'd gladly return!

The view is priceless, and the owners greeted us warmly. Check-in was quick. The location is excellent, with a pool area that has a barbecue, tables, chairs, and ping pong. There's also a shop-like area where you can eat with friends, or just have coffee and chat. The place is nicely managed, and I’d recommend it for summer rather than winter. Getting there was tricky: there are no directions, the road climbs steeply, and a low car may not make it. We visited in winter, so we enjoyed the bungalows less. For three adults, ours felt a bit small, with no closets or microwave, though the kitchen was adequately equipped. The patio is wonderful, clearly designed more for summer than winter. In the colder months, the heating wasn't enough for us. The rooms were very cold and the bathroom freezing. The route to the sea is about 1.8 kilometers and quite challenging, though it could be an easy workout if that's what you want.

The welcome was perfect, and everyone was very friendly. It was a little noisy because of the motorway next door, and the road is a bit steep to cycle up.

Getting there is quite an adventure, but once you arrive, the owners’ property is a treat. The welcome dinner felt romantic while still being great for kids. Outside, there are huge terraces with tables and loungers, and the grounds have vineyards, olive trees, passion fruit trees, pepper trees and plenty more. The place is a little dated, but it’s very clean and well cared for.
