Amazing place 👌

It’s a great choice if you want real peace and quiet for a relaxing break. The hosts are kind and helpful, and the apartment is well equipped, though it could use a microwave. It’s warm, even if you might not think so at first. Getting there takes some care. The road winds narrowly through the forest, and although it’s cleared of snow and covered with pebbles, the drive can be challenging. The beds creak so much that turning over quietly is impossible. There’s also a damp problem despite the moisture-removing system, with water dripping on the windowsills and mold. We’ve driven on vacations and holidays for many years, but this was the first time a marten, probably, chewed through the car wiring and practically immobilized our car, right in the parking lot. Keep that possibility in mind and get a repellent spray or device. There’s a cat too, a cunning beast. It starts out acting docile and meowing quietly, then turns into a master of extortion when it’s time to feed 😂

The landlord was very pleasant, and we could speak with him in English. We were very satisfied with the stay overall. The apartment is in the mountains, with modest furnishings, but the important things are there: a refrigerator, oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine, and plenty of dishes. The beds are comfortable, and sleeping there was pleasant. There’s a nice terrace with seating and a pergola with a grill. You can use the hot tub at any time, while the smaller sauna costs extra. There’s also a cat and a dog, both happy to make friends.

The relatively secluded location made for a peaceful vacation, and the nearest town was only a few kilometers away. Phone service was good, and the Wi-Fi worked well too. The owner greeted us in person when we arrived, showed us the house and the beautiful view, and we found the apartment spacious, new, and very clean.
