The food was the one part that fell short for me. I hoped it would be fresher and more flavorful, closer to the standard of the rest of the stay, so I wouldn't choose this place for dining. Still, I really enjoyed being here. Hotel San Lorenzo is peaceful but close to everything, and my room was clean, comfortable, and nicely designed.

Two of our four rooms smelled of sewer gas because vents from the building were near the windows. On top of that, electronic dance music from nearby bars blared until early morning. My elderly father asked to leave a day early, so we did. The manager didn't offer a refund, even though we booked directly with the hotel and hadn't used a third-party agent. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

We didn't need air conditioning because the temperatures were cool, though it could be an issue in hot weather. Even with that caveat, this is the best hotel we've stayed in so far in Europe. It's a beautiful building, the rooms are lovely, and the kids especially enjoyed the loft. The owner and his family are very friendly, breakfast is incredible, and there's plenty to do nearby. Plan on at least three nights.

Anna was so helpful when we struggled to get to the location. We booked at the very last minute, and she was still happy to accommodate us. The room was simple, but tidy and had everything we needed. The big bed and disco shower were fun extras. The staff really couldn't do enough for us!

The breakfast was lovely, and the people at this hotel were very nice. We stayed three nights and would definitely come back. I love little Italian villages like this one. There's a bar nearby, along with a public car charger, and Lago Molveno is just a ten-minute drive away. It's beautiful there.
