The staff were kind and helpful, but that was the one bright spot for me. The hotel feels badly dated and needs serious renovation. My room was tiny and uncomfortable, and one bottle of water for a two-night stay felt disappointing. The lobby also had a really unpleasant sewage smell. Breakfast was the low point: very little variety, poor quality, and not appetizing to look at. It made me feel more like skipping food and starting a diet. Even the elevators were unsettling, old, noisy, and barely large enough for one person and a suitcase. I won't be back.

I stayed one night, then moved to a hotel in central Verona. This place felt dated and was a long way from the city center, with getting around not easy. The restaurant and bar were closed, so I went to the old shopping center nearby. There were a few nice bars there, but not much else. A newer mall about a 10-minute walk away had plenty of shops and a Burger King.

A lovely room and washrooms, and a safe, sweet place for a family stay. Loved it.

The one thing going for it, for me, is the handy spot near the highway. The air conditioning was practically nonexistent, and I couldn't open the window for fresh air. I arrived at 18:00 to find the restaurant closed and no food available. Wi-Fi was terrible, there was no kettle for coffee, and the fridge had only sparkling water. The elevators were old and noisy too.

The staff were really kind, and the free parking was useful. But if you can't breathe or sleep in your room, what are you paying for? The air conditioning and hot water didn't work, and the room was so stuffy I spent the whole night sweating. Opening the windows brought so much highway noise that resting was impossible. Don't be misled by the earlier reviews. The rooms were horrible, and the low price didn't make this worth the money. The experience was disgusting.
