The food was delicious, and everyone on staff was helpful and very nice. The accommodation was great too, with big rooms and good heating.

We only stayed one night, and I left extremely disappointed. I locked my room before going to breakfast. While I was away, the cleaner went in, as my colleague saw her enter. When I came back, I packed and did a final check, but didn’t see my watch on the bedside table. About an hour after leaving the hotel, I realized I’d left it there. I called to ask about it and was told to ring back in ten minutes. When I did, they said no watch had been found or handed in. It struck me as very strange, and I didn’t find them helpful. The place had seemed professionally run, and I was told it was family-owned. I’d planned to stay again, but I wouldn’t recommend the hotel now because theft can happen here. Very dissatisfied, 0/10.

The hotel is in beautiful surroundings, and the staff are very friendly. We enjoyed the delicious dinners and excellent breakfast. Peitlerkofel (Sas de Putia) is nearby for the must-do hike around it, though it’s a challenging one. Fanes-Sennes is also close and has an even tougher mountain bike route through stunning scenery. If you’re into bike parks, Kronplatz has lovely trails, some more than 8 km long. Recommended!

It was okay. The rooms were nice, the view was good, and there were a few other nice things :)
