Villa Sarina

A beautiful beach club, but the prices are outrageous. We tried to eat at the bar, but they wouldn't serve some items there, including a simple rice dish, so we were sent to the restaurant. The same dishes from the bar menu cost €2 more there, and there was a cover charge on top. The staff were friendly, but the portions were truly meager and incomplete for prices that just aren't acceptable. I don't recommend it.

A terrible experience. The owner says she can keep people off the beach, even though it's public property, if they bring their own food and drinks. This needs a thorough check by the police. 😉

The view over lunch was breathtaking. The seafood scialatielli were perfect, all three, and the grilled squid was excellent too. Maybe the Nerano could have had a bit more personality. Still, a great experience!

The staff were very kind, the food was good, and the beach was beautiful, very much the Cilento kind, with long walks and unforgettable sunsets. But the rest was rough. This was called a three-star hotel, yet our room wasn't even like a hostel room. It smelled bad, had furnishings that were hard to describe, and a bathroom I wouldn't even try to review. The outdoor area felt shabby and inadequate, with ugly statues and figurines, a dirt road, and sofas held together with tape or full of holes. Getting to the sea by steps or the accessible route felt like going back in time, through what seemed like an open-air landfill. The route even had torn, dirty carpeting that felt dangerous. The outdoor showers were made of cardboard, not plasterboard.
