Hotel Villa Nettuno

We had to cut our holiday short because of the air conditioning breakdown, but the owner refunded us in full and apologized. I appreciate the staff and owner for helping us, and their understanding and professionalism. As of July 26, 2025, we were still waiting for Booking.com to send the refund to our bank, though we had already received an email confirming it. The location is ideal, with a magnificent open sea view and a beautiful, peaceful beach just a two-minute walk away. The room matched its description and had enough equipment for a couple, though it was a little small. The owners also run a beach bar, where guests can get sun loungers and parasols at a very competitive price. When we arrived on July 26, 2025, the hotel was dealing with a major air conditioning failure. They were working day and night to fix it, but the severe July weather was slowing repairs. We expected it to be working again in the following days, and hope everything is sorted by next summer. If there are no more problems, we would certainly spend our holiday here again.

The location is good, right by the beach. But the air conditioning at the Hotel and Villa Nettuno doesn't work, nor do the TV or refrigerator, and towels aren't changed.

The restaurant was the saving grace. It is run by an outside operator, and the food was fresh with plenty of options beyond the menu. The beach is also in a great spot and managed by a friendly, helpful outsider. But after five years, I didn't find the same harmony here, which is a real shame. We won't be coming back. The property badly needs structural work: doors malfunction, and staff were unhelpful and at times rude. I couldn't use the room I'd booked because its air conditioning wasn't working, although others may have been staying in that same room. Basic amenities were missing, including the TV that should have been in every room. The hygiene was very poor. Linens were changed only twice a week, and the floor always seemed sandy, even when I arrived.

Three years ago we stumbled across this place, and since then we've been glad to return every year. It has become our little paradise. The private beach is enchanting and only steps from the hotel. Dario is a friendly lifeguard, and Valeria is very skilled. The owner, her children, and all the staff are incredibly kind and always ready to help with any need. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
