The landlady is wonderful, and the place is quiet with a few restaurants nearby. Just keep in mind it's outside the interesting Old Town. The apartment itself is nice, all in one space with a bedroom, living room, and kitchen. The washing machine is excellent, and there's a large yard to relax in. The bathroom shower could use an upgrade.

Alessandra was so friendly and willing to help with anything. There was plenty nearby too, from a bakery and barber shop to a gas station. I spent two weeks at Casa Elefante after Booking sent me there because of a problem with another awful property in Empoli, which I won't name. I'd gone to San Miniato Basso, a strategic spot close to all of Tuscany, with someone who needed urgent medical care. Alessandra immediately made us feel at ease and showed us a beautiful studio with a sunny garden. Inside, it was well organized and furnished, super clean, and had everything we needed. It was incredibly peaceful, with a parking space just 1 meter from the room. I had to leave for one day because Alessandra had another booking, though I really didn't want to leave that house. When I returned, the room was still super clean. I can't say enough about the place. If I could, I'd rate it 11 out of 10. I'll definitely make Casa Elefante a regular stop whenever I'm in Tuscany and it works out. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart!

Our room had once been part of a house, so it came with a kitchen, a refrigerator, and even coffee. It stayed pleasantly cool, too. The shower drains straight into the floor instead of having a tray, which reminded me of our grandmothers' homes. The village around it is lovely and peaceful, and the service was excellent. We had a great experience.
