Hotel St. Pankraz

The staff and meals were amazing, and the two rooms we later took were extremely spacious and comfortable. We first got stuck nearby with our car, and Reinhert was a lifesaver. They tried to help us for free. Thanks for everything. We'd surely come back at the first opportunity.

We spent 10 days here in May 2026 with our two children, and the kind, helpful hosts made our stay especially enjoyable. Herbert greeted us himself, while his sister Rosi and the team kept things cheerful and handled requests without fuss. There was plenty for the children to enjoy, including a nearby goat enclosure and a playground where they could run around. The hotel is in a quiet spot at the end of a steep street in St. Pankraz, with a little grocery store, a post office and good public transport connections in the village. We booked two adjoining rooms with a huge covered balcony. The furnishings aren't especially modern, but the rooms and bathroom were spotless. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the linens were changed after four days. Half board was excellent: fresh, varied food each evening, with salad, soup, a main course and dessert. No pre-made mush. The owner still cooks himself. There was also underground parking and a small, lovely wellness area with a sauna and small swimming pool, plus a beautiful garden with sun loungers beside the house. Highly recommended if glitz and glamour aren't important to you, and you value warm, genuine hospitality and good food.

We found this hotel during a really busy time, and it turned out to be even better than we'd expected. The wellness area and pool were excellent, and both the plentiful sweet and savory breakfast and the delicious, well-prepared dinner were a treat. Everyone was extremely kind, and the place was spotless with care given to the details. Wishing the owner and family continued success and growth.
