What made the stay for me was the people. They made us feel at home from the start, and I couldn’t have asked for a better stay in San Pellegrino. I only wish we’d stayed more than one night. If I’m back in this part of Italy, I already know where I’ll stay. The house is beautiful, newly renovated, and cozy. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with San Pellegrino water and homemade cookies waiting for us. Breakfast was a lovely surprise too, with fresh bread, regional cheeses and sausages, fruit, yogurt, and plenty more. Andrea was so warm and welcoming. After our late check-in, he brought us warm tea in the kitchen, a small but really thoughtful gesture. The next morning we had trouble with our car, and even after we’d checked out, he helped us find where it had been towed. I’d missed the signs, my mistake. He also gave us a ride to another town, giving up his own time. Such wonderful hospitality!

After two weeks traveling around Slovenia and Italy, we slept better here than anywhere else on the whole trip. The memory foam mattresses made for the deepest sleep. Andrea, his wife, and his daughter were just as lovely as the beds. Everything, from arriving to settling into our rooms and having breakfast the next morning, was a wonderful experience. Grazie. Andrea, the manager, was kind and attentive. I stayed one night, and found the property in the village, about a 10-minute walk from the San Pellegrino thermal baths. My room was new, clean, and meticulously maintained. The bathroom was spacious, with a large shower. Breakfast offered a varied mix of sweet and savory food, including local products and delicious homemade cakes.
