Giovanni made us feel welcome from the start. He was easy to talk to, offered helpful advice, answered our questions, and speaks English very well, which was great for us since we don’t speak Italian. Even Ellen’s brother and his wife were welcome when they arrived with their camper, and they got a terrific private spot for a fair fee. They felt lucky to have found such a special, relaxing place too. We stayed for six days and really didn’t want to leave. The apartment Giovanni built is spacious, clean, comfortable, and bright, with large windows in the kitchen and bedroom looking out at green trees and hills. The WiFi was very good. There’s a calm, quiet atmosphere, and the natural surroundings are beautiful. We loved how easygoing it all felt. Giovanni has garden chairs and a bench where you can take in a wide view of the hills and distant mountains. You can get the seat cushions yourself whenever you want, which made us feel at home and accepted. The property is spacious enough to wander around, and there’s a nice pool with lots of frogs. It was a wonderful place to spend time. It seems like it would be comfortable and romantic even in winter, with central heating, a fireplace, and a woodstove in the bedroom. It wasn’t cold enough for us to use the fireplace. If you want peaceful nature, quiet, and a very friendly host, we can certainly recommend Casa della casa.

From Casa dela Casa, perched at the top of a hill, we could see the magical Marche landscape in every direction, from gentle rolling hills to rugged, snow-capped mountains. The welcome and openness we felt right from the start were heartwarming. Our stay did us so much good: we found peace and inspiration, and enjoyed ourselves completely. What a gift!

We loved cooking every day and eating outside in the garden, with an incredible view of the mountains and olive groves. The local grocery shop was a 15-minute walk from Giovanni's place, so we had our independence. We also worked remotely and needed a focused atmosphere, then went for hikes and walks every day. We didn’t miss a thing. Casa della casa felt magical and grounded, and saying goodbye was hard. We spent simple, abundant days among olive trees, forest, fresh tomatoes, cats, dogs, and a lovely family and community who share values around sustainable living. We especially appreciated that there were no fences between properties. Giovani and the family were friendly and discreet, and ready with help or guidance when we needed it. We spent a day searching Airbnb, and it was worth it just to find Giovanis' farm house. If you love nature and people who treat it with respect, this is the place for you. Thank you again!

A peaceful stop in the middle of our 10 day European holiday, and our favorite part of the trip. We could relax and recharge before continuing the itinerary. Giovanni was a wonderful host and made a perfect apartment in the county ♡
