Just five minutes off the highway, this little boutique hotel has a quirky, quaint feel. Storms caused a hot water problem during our stay, but the Brazilian receptionist took it on himself to sort it out. The staff are clearly encouraged to take initiative when guests run into trouble, and that made the stay memorable. I'd happily recommend it.

Asia and Enrico deserve special thanks for all the help and information. We felt at home during our week here, and everyone was so lovely and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful for the family, especially the "special latte cafe". It's a peaceful, quiet spot, with a laundromat, pharmacy and car repair shop just a five-minute walk away. You've made our vacation wonderful, and I'll surely come back next time I'm in Italy!

The restaurant was excellent, with really good food, and I can see why it's nearly full every night. I was here on a business trip with colleagues, and we had one of our best stays in a long time. The staff went out of their way to make it enjoyable and memorable. I'll come back and recommend it to friends.

The room was comfortable, and the service was attentive. Staff were friendly, and the dining room and restaurant were great. There's a pharmacy across the road and a laundromat 50m away. A great place to stay.

Our car broke down, so we had to stay here. No one at the garage spoke English, but someone from Al Barco called for us. We also didn't realize we were supposed to leave around 10, so we stayed until 11:30. They didn't mind at all. Really great people.
