The hotel looked unimpressive from outside, but inside it was lovely. The reception was warm and inviting, decorated with old Italian memorabilia, stereos, radios, a gramophone, an upright piano, old photos and scenes from sardinia. Rooms were clean and airy, with showers and air conditioning. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast offered a good selection. Walking to the town centre took a while, and some roads were poorly lit. San teodoro's centre was lively at night, with nice restaurants and bustling street market stalls.

Take care to check the booking conditions. They weren't clear on the website: once you reserve a room, you can't cancel without losing 30% of the cost, even if you cancel 14 days ahead. I booked a room and tried to cancel the same day. They replied two days later because there was no office over the weekend, and kept 30%. They took advantage of my mistake. I don't trust this kind of establishment. The director ended the phone call and wouldn't speak to me any further. Incredible!

The room was clean, though it could use a little refreshing. Nothing special, but nothing to complain about either. Breakfast had a limited selection that was the same each day, so it could be cheaper.

After reaching Olbia, we booked through the ferry. The front desk responded very quickly, and staff were friendly and professional. I asked for two nights, but the room was already due to be occupied by another couple the next night. The lady immediately worked on sorting it out.
