A lovely residence.

I’m leaving a negative review because the booking service was inaccurate, even if the mix-up was understandable. The property first confirmed availability and our reservation, then later asked us to cancel the night because of a calendar sync issue. That had apparently left us with a longer, and therefore better value, booking. They should set a minimum stay or handle reservations more transparently.
The Uddastru residence felt like a little paradise, well cared for and full of flowers and plants, away from the city noise. You could see Cinta beach from the balcony and Tavolara from the kitchen. It was top-notch, and I left my heartfelt thanks there.
The staff at reception were wonderfully friendly and helpful, and their German was excellent. We liked the quiet setting, covered parking, spacious apartment, terrace with garden furniture, and the lovely sea or mountain views. The house itself was very nice and the garden well maintained. My overall impression was positive, especially for someone after a really quiet holiday of more than two weeks. The apartment was extremely cold in April, around 10-15°C, with no heating or other way to warm it. The bathroom’s water heater was small. It was enough for the two of us, but I can’t imagine it would cover a family of four. Bed linen costs €7 per person per day and is changed weekly. There’s no Wi-Fi, and not even soap, so you need to buy everything yourself.
I travel often, and this was one of the worst places I’ve stayed. The building is old, and the apartment was dirty, with cobwebs and soiled linen. There was no toilet paper, lighting, or air conditioning. On arrival they also charged an extra fee we hadn’t expected, on top of what we’d already paid through Booking.
