Oasi Residence

Good spot for families, halfway between La Cinta beach and central San Teodoro. The village is quiet and well kept.

Waiting for our luggage after checkout was a mess. We were told it would take 15-20 minutes, but it took 50, and nobody answered our calls while we waited. The 10:00 AM checkout had gone ahead, and the office had offered to store our bags. The faulty door hinges and locks trapped us inside twice. When we asked for urgent help, the woman at the service center was rude and dismissive, snorted at us, called us rude for asking, and even suggested it was our fault. The toilet flush also wouldn't handle consecutive flushes. We only found out on site that the water heater and hairdryer couldn't be used at the same time. Linens cost €15 per person and have to be reserved, yet the towels frayed and left lint on our bodies. The apartment came without soap, toilet paper, or a kitchen cloth, while guests are expected to leave it impeccably clean or face a penalty. We also had to take care of our own rubbish disposal. A disappointing stay. I can't recommend this place.

The apartment was clean, in good condition, and close to both the sea and the center. It was also in a quiet area. We arrived at 2:30 PM but had to wait until the mandatory 5:00 PM check-in, so we spent those hours at the beach with all our luggage in the car. There were plenty of mosquitoes, and the place really needs mosquito nets. A nearby brackish stream smelled bad, so I wonder if it could be closed off. For rubbish, it would make more sense to have a shared collection point with large recycling bins outside instead of making everyone take it to the landfill.

We had a spacious apartment in a lovely setting, with a huge garden. It could use a little maintenance, and the entrance has no gate. Since we had a dog, we improvised with a net and clothesline across the front. It's within walking distance of the beach and close to town. When there aren't groups of young people staying in the other apartments, it can be very quiet.
