The biggest problem was the management and the lack of reliable customer service. We were told reception was available until 20:00, but it was often closed or unmanned, and it was hard to reach anyone on WhatsApp. When we asked for an extension cord because the kitchen outlets left us nowhere to plug in the kettle except on the floor, our message was read but never answered. We also reported that the WLAN was down and waited a whole day for a reply. We had arranged to check out early, and agreed someone would come at 19:00 the evening before. Nobody showed up or let us know they weren’t coming, even though we’d kept our evening free. We had to go ask, only to be told we could just leave the keys in the room. Very unprofessional. We also paid €15 per person for bedding, but neither the bedding nor towels were changed during our stay, so we washed them ourselves. There’s an undisclosed €70 cleaning fee if you book through Agoda, payable at check-in. It wasn’t mentioned during booking, and we don’t know whether the hotel or Agoda was at fault, but people should know. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable, with basic amenities, a spacious veranda, and a couple of sunbeds. The welcome olive oil was a nice touch. The area was very quiet, and parking was easy. The apartment smelled so strongly of perfume when we arrived that we had to open all the windows just to breathe. The kitchen outlets were awkwardly placed. There was nowhere to use the kettle without putting it on the floor because its cord was too short and the only available socket was down there. Customer service was practically nonexistent, and we couldn’t rely on staff being around. Maybe it was because we came in the off-season, but paying guests should still get service. We actually had a good time, though these problems need fixing.
