Il Cantinone

Everything was excellent in this comfortable house, just a few meters from the sea. Thanks to Irene for being so courteous and professional. Keep up the great work!

The Palma Apartment had all the amenities, plus covered parking and a supermarket nearby. But our week there, from August 28th to September 4th, was uncomfortable. The blanket left to cover the sofa was full of dog hair and didn’t seem washed or sanitized, which was especially concerning during a pandemic. My wife is allergic and needed extra cleaning to avoid breathing problems. Outside noise kept us awake every night, whether the windows were open or shut. They weren’t soundproof, and we could hear loud noise and music from the open bar on the avenue late into the night. What should have been a week of wellbeing became a week of antihistamines and sleeplessness. I raised both issues with the staff. They apologized about the blanket and said the noise problem was known, with work scheduled for the year. I wish we’d been given clearer information when booking so we could have considered another option. Sincerely.

It’s lovely here, very clean, and close to both the town center and the sea. We’ll definitely come back, highly recommended.

I stayed here in January and the house was really warm, very well looked after, and in a great spot by the sea. A peaceful, relaxing stay. Well done, I had a great time.
