The stay was very positive. One small suggestion for the management: it would be great to have a microwave, a tablecloth, and a few more kitchen utensils and pans. That's all :)
The location was great, just two steps from the beach and close to a COOP supermarket. There are lots of nice restaurants nearby, and the place welcomes dogs. The dog beach is a must see, we loved it! It also felt quite exotic and got us out of our comfort zone, partly because not many people spoke English. Our room didn’t look like the website photos at all, and the rooms seem to differ quite a bit, so they should be described more clearly. The shower head was below my waist, and at 6'0 I couldn’t shower properly standing up. I’d asked for confirmation that we had a sea view, but ours was only a corner view, visible from the balcony when standing. Check-in could’ve been better too. No one was there, and our key had been left in the mailbox. The kitchen was missing some basics, and the Wi-Fi was so poor that I had to pay cellphone roaming fees because it was unusable.
We loved all 10 days we spent there. Our attic had a small private terrace with a table, chairs, an umbrella, and fantastic views from the sea to the west across to the mountains in the east. The internet connection also seemed very good. The beach location is the main draw. If you don’t like sand, there are three wooden sun decks above beach level just in front of the house, reserved for guests. In high season it can be hard to get a spot because some people put towels on the loungers at dawn and leave them there, usually for most of the day. Parking is on the street in front of the hotel, with just 8 bays for hotel guests, so you may need to look along the street for a space. A few things to know about the attic: it’s better suited to shorter people. I’m 178 cm and had to bend down in both the bathroom and bedroom. That’s just a friendly warning. There’s no stove, which is understandable, but no microwave either, which was inconvenient. There’s a washing machine, but no iron or ironing board. The bedroom has no bedside tables or shelves, so we used the little terrace chairs. When we arrived, the floor was dusty and sandy, and our feet got dirty after a couple of steps. We would’ve cleaned it ourselves, but there’s no vacuum cleaner in the apartment. The TV seemed to have only Italian channels. I got up to no. 120 and gave up. Again, just a friendly warning, not a complaint.
The wind and the sound of the sea made our stay feel magical. We were right on the beach, and it was a wonderful visit. Highly recommended!
The rooms were well equipped, and the place is right by the sea with its own exit to the beach. The host was nice and helpful :)
