The Trullo was spacious, with two bedrooms and bathrooms, and it was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we could want. We were pleasantly surprised by how close the rental was to the Cammino Materano trail near Serranova, which we’ve been walking. Alessandro and Teresa welcomed us warmly as soon as we arrived, and we had such a wonderful stay. The olive trees around the front patio made the place even lovelier.

After walking 20km on the Via Francigena, we arrived to find that Alessandro and Teresa had made sure we had food for dinner and breakfast. They even bought vegan food for me. We felt really looked after and got a good rest in the shade of their trees. This little traditional Apulian house has everything you need, and it’s such a beautiful, peaceful place. Alessandro and Teresa will do their best to help and suggest nice places to visit. Grazie Mille 🫶🏼

The bed has just been renewed and was super comfortable. The trullo itself is lovely to stay in, though the bedrooms and bathrooms are in a connected building behind it. Alex and his wife are great hosts, stocking the fridge and kitchen with drinks, food, and snacks for a day or two. On Sunday, he even brought us typical sweets for breakfast. It’s very quiet among the olive orchards, with hammocks and tables and seats around the property, including on the rooftop for outdoor lunches or wine tasting. Bring mosquito repellent for evenings. San Vito, with supermarkets and restaurants, is 7 km away, and the beach is a little further. It’s a good base for Martina Franca, Ostuni, and Locorotondo, which we really liked, and Alberobello, which felt a bit too touristy for us. There are lovely, healthy stray cats around that come looking for food and attention. Grazie mile.

Alessandro, the owner, is so kind and always available. The place is cosy and full of character, a great spot to relax in the peaceful surroundings and enjoy the amazing seaside. I’d recommend it to everyone!

The owners are incredibly kind and made us feel at home. They even brought us traditional pasticciotti for breakfast! Set among Apulian olive trees, the trullo is a great fit for a relaxing holiday in nature, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and everything equipped. There are hammocks outside and a little terrace where you can watch the sunset over the olive trees. The beautiful beaches, with convenient parking, are a 15-minute drive away, and the sea is crystal clear. A wonderful holiday!
