Hotel Alemagna Restaurant

The best part of breakfast was the wonderful coffee. I'm not usually a coffee drinker, but I had a cappuccino every day during my week here. There were fresh fruits, bread and spreads, eggs, cold cuts, cheese, and cereal. The selection was decent, though I would've liked a hot breakfast item too. The hotel is 3-5 minutes on foot from the San Vito Centro bus stop, so getting around was easy. Staff were friendly and let me check in before the scheduled time after I wrote to tell them I'd arrive early. Google Maps showed the location accurately. I was here solo for work, and the room had enough for one person: a comfortable bed, good temperature control, two windows with lots of daylight and magnificent mountain views, a chair and table, decent WiFi, excellent storage, and a safe. It could feel cramped with two people. The bathroom had a good shower, hot water at any time, decent toiletries including shampoo, soap, shower caps, and a hair dryer, plus a bidet, which was a lifesaver for me as a non-European traveler. There are two thermostats, one in the bathroom and one near the bed, for temperature control and possibly drying things. If you can't stay in Cortina and want somewhere nearby, SanVito is the next best option. I'd heard about the ski ranges here but didn't get to try them, maybe next time. The hotel adds a city tax at checkout as its policy.
