The service was extremely accommodating, and I loved having a barista at breakfast instead of a machine. The hotel has beautiful views all around and is only a short drive from Cortina.

The front desk lady was lovely, friendly, and happy to help, and the breakfast was nice. San Vito di Cadore is a terrific base for exploring, with Cortina only a short drive away. One thing that would help is putting “do not disturb” tags in the rooms. The cleaners seemed eager to come in, even when guests staying several nights might not need the room cleaned.

Teresa, the hotel owner, was outstandingly courteous, and the location was great. We really enjoyed breakfast, too. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a good value holiday within a reasonable distance of Cortina.

We had a pleasant stay, though sound carries through the fairly thin walls and you can hear guests in other rooms. Fortunately, the hotel wasn’t full. If you’re planning an early start for a hike, note that breakfast runs from 7:30-10:00, so you’ll probably miss it.

It’s peaceful here, with mountain views and a nice starting point for a hike. The hotel is clean and pleasant, and the staff were excellent. I came back soaked after a thunderstorm, and they offered to clean and dry my clothes, backpack, and shoes. Breakfast is simple and nice. There’s no food served otherwise, so you’ll need to walk into town, about 20 to 30 minutes away. It’s quiet and not touristy.
