Acqua di Mare B&B

Dear Stefano, warm greetings from us in the South. Your B&B has an enviable central location, and Lucia clearly takes good care of the clean, well-kept rooms. But we couldn’t get any rest. Late-night bars and noise from workers meant we had to keep the windows closed and the air conditioning on from six o’clock. As we told you on August 10th, the air-conditioning vents were making noise too. We were without a fridge for the whole stay, which was a major inconvenience, and it was never fixed. The poorly ventilated bathroom smelled of sewage. Breakfast was very poor: they had to rush to find a croissant or an empty braid, and without dear Lucia setting one aside, we would NOT have had anything. There was nothing this morning either, just one juice and one kind of biscuit that’s been there for months, dry and tasteless. The nightly price isn’t cheap for what’s offered, so more investment is needed. A trolley would help carry suitcases out of the room in the ZTL, and a little spending on a laundry-drying area could make the B&B more comfortable. A safe is inexpensive and would give guests a useful bit of privacy for their belongings. For people staying several days, its absence is a real hassle.

Everything about my stay at Acqua di Mare B&B was impeccable, from the cleanliness to the kind, helpful service. In the typical Sicilian baglio, the lady served breakfast with so much care, including fresh croissants and all the rest. Thanks so much for everything, 10/10.

The location is excellent, right by the sea and in the center of San Vito lo Capo. The hosts were kind and helpful, and breakfast was good, especially the cappuccino. Our room stayed cool and was spacious even with the air conditioning off. I highly recommend it.

The place is right in the center and has a lot of charm. Stefano was wonderfully welcoming, and everything was impeccably clean. Our first-floor room meant using stairs that felt a little too steep to us, and the breakfast area was rather small. Still, we'd gladly recommend it.
